How long is summer camp?

Summer Camp runs from June 18 - August 31, from 8:30am to 3pm. We're flexible to accommodate your summer schedule: you can join for as much of the full session as you need. We also offer early drop-off at 8am, as well as After Camp from 3-6pm!


What's the difference between summer camp and sport-specific camp?

Summer Camp is multi-sport, while in sport-specific camp, kids choose to focus on training in one specific sport for a full week! Our options include Parkour Intensive Camp, Skateboarding Intensive Camp, and Climbing Intensive Camp.


What does a day look like?

Sample Daily Schedule | Monday Theme is "Balancing from Center"

8:00 - 9:00am: Early arrivals will engage in games and read while waiting for their friends to arrive!

9:00 - 9:20am: Arrive and meet your group. Apply sunscreen!

9:20 - 10:00am: Walk to State Street Park. Find your center through balancing, climbing, and hanging. (Action 1)

10:15 - 10:45am: Snack time and circle downtime.

10:45am - 12:00pm: Walk back to studio; obstacle course (Action 2)

12:00 - 1:00pm: Lunch and down-time choice activity

1:00 - 2:00pm: Rock climbing (Action 3)

2:00 - 2:30pm: Play with balance with obstacle props, create your own balances and share ideas with group (Action 4)

2:30 - 2:45pm: Dance party!

2:50 - 3:00pm: Clean up, pack up

3:00pm: Pick up

3:00-6pm: After Camp: Snack, down time, games and 1 more action if energy is there.


What happens if it rains?

Rain or shine we are here to stay! Light rain and drizzle will not stop us from having fun! We do provide a series of fun indoor activities planned in the event of heavy rain, thunder, or lightning!


What type of snack do you provide?

We provide a healthy snack including one fruit, one vegetable, and something crunchy. While we strive to provide snacks that are enjoyable for everyone we cannot guarantee snacks will always be kosher or gluten free.


Where is pickup and dropoff?

Parents have the option to drop off at our Clinton Street location (130 Clinton Street). All pickups must take place at our One Brooklyn Bridge location( 360 Furman Street between Piers 5 & 6). All late drop offs taking place after 9:30 must be dropped off at One Brooklyn Bridge!


What should I pack for a day of camp?

To ensure your child has the best experience possible, we ask that you pack the following:  

  • A change of clothes

  • Water bottle

  • Packed lunch

  • Clothes for water fun

  • A towel

  • Sun protection (sunscreen, hats, visors, etc.)  


Are coaches CPR certified?

All current Everyday Athlete staff is CPR certified!


Will my child have the same coaches that coach the Everyday Athlete After School?

Most of our summer camp coaches are Everyday Athlete veterans who regularly coach Everyday Athlete classes! We do bring in additional fantastic seasonal staff for summer camp.


What kind of training do you provide for your seasonal staff?

We ensure that all of our coaches are CPR certified in addition to being thoroughly trained in safety procedure!


What Parks do you use during summer camp?

We take full advantage of the various parks and Piers right outside our doors! Currently we use Piers 2, 5, and 6.  


Do you offer refunds for summer camp?

We offer full refunds up until May 15th.
